overexposed

WOAH, people, stop! I just realized something insane. Yeah, I'm genius, right?
So, I was checking my inbox and found an e-mail from a craft store where I used to order my handicraft stuff from. Anyways, for some reason I checked their home page (actually 'cause I was thinking that maybe their new homepage is better than the old one which I hated, 'cause I'm pretty obsessed with home pages and templates and graphics and all that stuff) AND I found their Facebook page which had a sweepstake going on and I just scrolled trough it and realized...

When I was making jewelry... (though I was not that obsessed with it or so good at it, but still), that was not just some overexposed hobby all the misses had out there. I knew like... to be honest, one person beside me, who actually did it as a hobby. And craft stores were really hard to find.

Now, it's totally overexposed. Every housewife and girl does it. They know everything about it. At the same time, I think if someone gave me some craft stuff right now, I would not be able to create anything extraordinary. I'm really not interested to it anymore and I think I finally realized why -- it got overexposed.

So right then, another thing popped up in my head. Photography. I'm really not as good at photography, as I could be or would like to be, but I know some stuff and it's actually pretty good to know how this stuff works so you'd actually have some pictures to share with people.. but guys, these days all the teenagers have a DSLR camera and I bet most of them don't even know what that means. When I started out with photography (sounds like I'm 82, right?), we had our friggin' piggy banks on the desks with our little DSLR savings. It wasn't a "hey mommyy, I WANT THAT, JUST 'CUZ EVERYONE HAZ ONE OF THESE THESE DAYS!!!"

I'm really happy that our society has gotten to a point, where you have to have everything the others have (and make sure it's bigger and better!) and you have to know how to make everything others make (and make sure you can make it better than they do!), but guys... If I will have the honor to meet one more person, who says that he/she loves photography and then lays his/her 'portfolio' with something that's supposed to be a MACRO of a FLOWER and is actually a focused refrigerator in the background, then you know.. I'mma RAGE. And what happened to all of those cute-ass handicraft stores out there, which were SO rare, but SO amazing. I'mma cry..

One more thing. Blogging. But I guess I have no rights to tell you about pointless blogs with stuff about a teenager who actually doesn't know anything or wants everybody to know everything he/she knows, 'cause hey, I own one...

Thanks for giving me a chance to feel myself like I was 82 and barely remembered my childhood, but yeah. I hope I can do all the stuff I love until all of it becomes overexposed. And thanks for the people who actually know, what to do with the cameras and the people, who can still make me smile with their self-made jewelry and not some mainstream stuff.

Baah, I'mma go sleep now.

WOAH, inimesed, pidage kinni korraks.

Nüüd on kõigil mingi käsitöömaania. Kõik tegelevad sellega. Kõik teavad sellest kõike. Samas, kui keegi mulle täna hunniku materjali kätte annaks, ma ei oskaks sellest vist eriti midagi meeliülendavat teha. Ma lihtsalt tüdinesin sellest järsku totaalselt ära ja ma vist sain lõpuks aru miks... See ei olnud enam armas ja eriline..

Täpselt siis jõudsin ma veel teise järelduseni. Fotograafia.

2 languages, 19 pictures :)

Hey guys! So as you may have noticed, I put a poll in the sidebar. So feel free to answer it. As I see, most of you want see more pictures and guess what, here comes a huge photo-bomb.
I will start with yesterday. We went to the grocery store and bought stuff for making cinnamon rolls. So we made the dough, covered it with cinnamon and sugar and left it in the refrigerator overnight. They looked delicious.
I had trouble falling asleep, so I watched some South Park with Aileen and when she went asleep, I chatted with my mommy and went to bed around 4 o'clock in the morning.

Heihei!

Fortunately, I had no problem waking up in the morning. We finished the cinnamon rolls, which looked like heaven and covered them with frosting. They smelled AND tasted like heaven. If anyone has ever tried Cinnabon, you probably know how it tastes like.

In the evening we drove down to Annapolis. I bought some postcards and we found a wonderful shop. It had all kinds of 3D maps, which were made with lasers and they looked absolutely gorgeous. They had different things - trays, clocks, tables, just pictures etc. My absolute favorite was a tray with Hawaiian islands. They were on sale, but still about $100, so I just took a picture and moved on with my life..

After visiting a bunch of gift shops, I just took lots of pictures. So, enjoy :)

Peale suveniiripood tegin palju pilte selles üliarmsast linnast...

My favorite picture from today // Ülinunnu kutsa, mu lemmikpilt täiega :)

Cinnamon coffee, my love

Hey guys!

So basically I try to keep my vlog updated, 'cause I get more feedback from YouTube. Actually I almost get no feedback from YouTube, which means I don't get ANY feedback from Blogger so I... am.. not having fun while blogging, wee.

Since this blog is supposed to remind me my life when I'm 80 and can't remember anything, then I'm gonna write something.

I actually had a blast yesterday. We went to a pool party, which was really fun. I'm just so surprised that people actually get along in this neighborhood and community so well, that they just invite you to come over and have a pool party at their house. Anyway, we also went tubing there, which was SCARY. Last time we had a tube that actually looked like a seat, this time it was just a tube with handles. So yeah. Jake and Steven went first, had a blast and then me and James went and had a blast. James fell off the first time. The second time, I fell off. The third time mr. Byerly made a circle of death, which we (as the team of awesomeness) successfully survived. Tho' there was a time we were totally jumping out of the water and the tube was like 5 feet from the ground and it was creepy, when it fell back down. So yeah. Had fun.

But that was not the end of the fun. We went back to the pool and guys were making flips from the diving board. So they tried to get Steven to make one, but Steven wasn't very excited about it. I was... So I went on the diving board and James, Jake, Aileen and Chris tried to explain what to do. After trying this for like 8 times, I took my phone out and left it recording by the pool, so I could show you how I fail/succeed.

So right when I finish editing this video (which is like 15 minutes long), I'll upload it and stuff. I actually made a silent vlog, where I basically have fun with a whiteboard. You can check it out..

But yeah.. I'm gonna edit this flip-vlog and later on I'm going to help Aileen with the garage, 'cause you know, I can't basically just live here and eat Aileen's wonderful secret recipe pizza and play Black Ops. Tho', I washed the cars one day and stuff. Oh, and I have a new follower <3

Hey Karmen-Teresa! :)

release your inner visions

Haven't blogged for a while, but hey, u lazy people don't even leave a comment, like, not cool, dudes. REALLY?

Anyway, we went to cinema again the other day to see 'Monte Carlo'. I thought it's one of those Disney princess stories, but it actually wasn't. Sweet and girly, nothing special but also not as bad as you'd assume. So yeah, I'd say I even liked it.

Today we went to a waterfront restaurant and while having our crab cakes we put together a list of the things I should definitely do before leaving the USA. Right now it looks something like that:

  • eat peanut butter
  • go to a roller coaster
  • visit the museums in D.C.
  • go swimming at night
  • watch sunrise by the Atlantic Ocean
  • public planking with a photo/video proof
  • go to Annapolis to 1) make pictures 2) buy postcards
  • vlog from the pool party (tomorrow)
  • go to IHOP
  • fly a kite
  • go to a baseball game
It probably gets longer, but yeah. Any ideas? Let me know.

Pictures?

That's a perfect picture to show what you should not do, if you have one chance to take a picture of a nest full on just hatched birds. Well, too bad I messed it up :(

Yea, well, outfit post from today and it's totally untuned, so you can kinda see my actual skin color - probably not as tanned as you could imagine, but yea. I'm all bruisy, don't ask why..

Erwin Piro - Invented parks in Estonia, where it's legal to drink*

Nicole is SO hilarious. She just came in my room, 'cause she's about to go to bed and we had a little conversation. She told me that on Sunday she won't have the swimming class early in the morning and she can stay up late. I told her that her mom had told me that she couldn't stay up until later than 11pm. Nicole had this drop dead serious face and she said: "I'm a l o u d to stay up until 11pm" I literally LOL'd on the bed, 'cause this girl is pure awesomeness.
Today was fun, anyway. We finished the puzzle. Took us like three days and a LOT of caffeine. We also played like tons of board games today. Courtney was here and we played Wii Rock Band, which was kinda fun. Also played some Call of Duty with Jake, which was... bloody, but awesome.

Tomorrow is FRIDAY! Oh, about the new Rebecca Black's song. Not that I really want to make a big deal out of it, but anyway. I don't really have anything to say about the song, but my brain refuses to understand, WHY IS THAT GIRL STILL MAKING MUSIC, tho' it's not really music. Most of the mainstream stuff isn't actually music. Have fun with yo' Ke@has or Ke£has or Ke$has. I mean, what do you think about the new song..?

AGH, I almost forgot. We made pizzas today! A LOT of delicious pizzas, which are mostly gone now. I might have some pictures for you. Agh, I'm too tired for writing anything but this, so I just caption all the pictures and hope you lazy people don't mind writing a comment :)

Had fun with Photoshop, indeed :)

*We played Balderdash and in case you don't know the game, it's about defining something that's on the card and trying to convince others that's it's the actual meaning of it. Like a word or some initials. One of the categories is called peculiar people and one of the cards had a name Erwin Piro on it. Jake put down a definition saying invented parks in Estonia, where it's legal to drink. I guess you can say Jake knows enough about Estonia, right?

ben&jerry's heaven

We went to Giant today. Here's the result:

I'm off to bed now, it's like 2:30 am here, not fun :D
